The Day the Movies Died Movies + TV: GQ.com

I got this from a friend on FB.  Its a very interesting (long) article about what is wrong with movies today.  It is depressing to realize that the majority of movies coming out now are sequels (when sequels used to be the worst movies in the theaters.  I remember back in the day when Star Trek II:The Wrath of Khan came out that it was going to suck because it was a sequel...then it turned into the best movie in the franchise...and that as well is a term of relatively new use...a movie franchise, when movies used to be one shot stories and franchises were on TV.
