Ghengis Grill Arrabbiata

IMG_2679 Today I went for an Italian profile (thanks to Tony over at my Genghis Grill in The Forum.  Meat, and some veggies with a tomato sauce and voila…Italian bowl.  And, of course, I’m gonna make it a bit spicy with some crushed red pepper to add a little zing, or as they say in Italian food, to make the sauce “arrabbiata”, or an “angry sauce”.  Here you can see it about to go to the grill masters.  Lots of spinach, and with the garlic water, tomato, and chili garlic sauce, I needed TWO sauce cups.

Next it was off to the grill and the masters did their job well.  Here you can see a couple of them plying their trade as he toss my food onto the grill.

So, right at 500 calories for a nice Italian style bowl that was delicious.  I’m gonna have this one again…maybe next time with some shrimp.
